Day #10 of Road Trip #2

Day 10 - Home

After a great 10 days traveling to 8 MLB ball parks with my dad, it was time to head home. We had a VERY early flight home.

Waiting for our car from the valet parking at the hotel.

The rental car that got us from New York, through all the tolls, down all the different types of roads (big and little!), and to all of our destinations, finally ending in Chicago.

O'Hare Airport

Today, we returned the rental car, flew home on the plane, and now we're waiting for the shuttle to get us to the car so we can drive home from San Francisco!

We're home!!!

Walking around the ballpark

After a walk almost completely around the ballpark, we discovered you can not go all the way. But we made it inside!

Views from our seats

Walking around inside was pretty cool because of all the history they had up on the walls.

2005 World Champions!

My famous 'hat' picture! :)

My dad and I came to a great game!!! The Chicago WhiteSox were honoring Mark Buehrle for his perfect game the week before. It was the 18th perfect game in MLB history!

This is the catch that helped Muehrle keep up the perfect game. The Sox even marked the spot on the wall for all to see forever.

His reaction!
Hugging the guy who saved the big game with a great catch!

Being honored before the game
