This is going to be a busy, busy day for us. It begins with the alarm going off at 4:30 am in St. Louis. We shower, get ready, pack up and are on the road to Milwaukee by 5:30 am.
Here are some good bye STL views as we leave and the sun comes up.
Unfortunately, as I was driving on the bridge across the Mississippi River we crossed the state line into Illinois and I wasn't able to get a picture. But I got pictures of us driving across Illinois on our way to Wisconsin.
The weather has changed a lot!! We are finally wearing long pants for the first time since San Diego. We also hit some rain!
They also take hit road workers very serious here too. This is something California should think about...

We made it to Miller Park!!! Now it's game time!!!
After the game, we waited in LOTS of traffic to get out of the parking lot. It kind of felt like LA again! But we finally made it to the freeway and we are on the road again! This time to Chicago!
Of course, we hit more traffic as it was rush hour...So instead of a 2 hour drive it was a bit longer. And the overcast skies didn't help, but here's a view as we were entering Chicago area.
We are tired and hungry when we get to our cozy bed and breakfast inn. Which is located in the gay district (I hope I didn't offend anyone!) It is really cute in this area with lots within walking distance. But we will have to explore it tomorrow because it is bedtime!
We need to be rested to the Chicago Cubs game tomorrow!!!
