Day 2 of Road Trip

After the Dodger game we went back to Cat's house, but being in LA it took FOREVER! But we made it! In the morning, Cat went off to work, so Kevin, Julia, and I went on a mission for a place for breakfast. We found Nat's Early Bite (thanks yelp!) and it was super yummy! If you are ever in the Sherman Oaks area, I highly recommend it!



Then it was off to Anaheim. On the map it looks close, but don't forget where we are! It took awhile, but we made it.

I wanted to update about the previous night's Dodger game, so we went in search of free wi-fi. After driving around Anaheim, we ended up at The Disneyland Hotel in the business center.

While there we found out that the Angels game that night (which we were supposed to go to) was sold out! =( Kevin had a guy getting us tickets, but that fell through. We went to the Angles Stadium to go to the box office, but they really were sold out and we couldn't even go in. Signs around the stadium:

So here comes my first lesson in hustlin'. As we were pulling out by the stadium there were multiple guys with tickets. So we pulled over but they wanted WAY TOO MUCH for the tickets. We finally talked one guy down to $60 for the $24 tickets we had. But it was still too much so we left. We drove a little further down the road and saw more guys. We ended up buying tickets there (still paying TOO MUCH, but it was a sold out and game we had to be there!) Who knew the Angels Dodgers game was so important! This is where our "ticket deal" went down! =)


We still had a little time to kill before the game, so we found an outdoor shopping area with restaurants and went to have a drink!

Then it was time to go to the game!!
